Eagle's Eye is a series of six incredible programmes made by Border Television which take you on an aerial tour of some of the most beautiful parts of Great Britain. More than two hours of stunning pictures produce a vista of the landscape below that shows features and connections invisible from the ground. Originally made for a record-breaking television series on ITV Border, Eagle's Eye is now available for you to enjoy in your own home on one DVD or Video. |
| Cameras spent weeks capturing the unique footage which goes to make up the six programmes in the series. A team of researchers carefully planned this unique record of the countryside, choosing locations and planning the flights with meticulous care. The aerial pictures were shot using an Augusta 109 twin-engined helicopter, with a specially designed gyro-mount which produces rock-steady pictures over the lakes and beaches, and through the mountains and hills. All of the images you see on the programme pages are from episodes of the series. |
| Click on an area in the menu on the left for full details of the series, and to see some of the images from each programme, shot in spectacular wide-screen for the best view of the action. Eagle's Eye is presented by Fiona Armstrong. |
